A SKILL LEARNED YOUNG IS A SKILL FOR LIFE
A skill learned young is a skill for life. That certainly applies to me. My name is Soumaya Sayici-Slilem, personal trainer and lifestyle coach. I have been going to the gym since I was 15. In the beginning, my interest was mainly in cardio/condition training. This quickly turned to strength training and then also to powerlifting. It sounds very cliché, but sports have helped me through many difficult moments in life. It really made me realize what discipline means, but above all that I can do more than I thought and I also take this into my daily life. I became a personal trainer because I want to convey this feeling to others. I want to show others that there is more to them than they think and that healthy living does not mean that your life has to consist of only eating salads. Balance is the key to success for me and I pass this on to my clients. Whether you want to lose weight, become fitter/stronger or perhaps gain healthy weight, I got you!
WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT DURING A TRAINING SESSION WITH ME?
A training that involves hard work but also time for fun. I think it's important that your training feels like a highlight of your day instead of something “that just has to happen”. The right technology is an important pillar. The right technique ensures results in strength exercises to become stronger every session without pain. During my training you get the best out of yourself, making you stronger both physically and mentally. You also take this into your daily life. In addition, there is a pleasant atmosphere during my training sessions with nice music in the background and if you have a preference for specific music, the DJ (me) will take this into account :)!
MY SPECIALTIES
Before I became a personal trainer, I followed several courses. For example, I completed the AALO fitness trainer level 1 and 2, AALO fitness master level 3, AALO personal trainer level 4 and this year I made the choice to expand my knowledge even further through... to follow the Menno Henselman course.
