There is a big chance that you will not feel comfortable there as a beginner or less experienced athlete. You notice that others greet you with a smile, there is room for a chat and always help if you need it.

A pleasant atmosphere in the gym is therefore very motivating. You look forward to going, because you know that you are in an environment where you feel good. That makes it easier to push your boundaries and take that extra step. Moreover, exercising with fun is simply more fun! And if you have fun, you will keep it up longer.

In a gym with a good atmosphere, there is more than just individuals doing their own workout. You notice a sense of togetherness. People encourage each other, share tips and experiences, and celebrate successes together. This social aspect not only makes exercising more fun, but can also help you achieve your goals. After all, you are not the only one struggling!

More than equipment alone

Perhaps you have had the idea that the quality of the equipment in a gym was the most important. Of course it is nice to be able to train with good equipment. Are the equipment also clean and intact?
